What's in it for me?

A Realtor from Colorado Springs, CO wrote us today and asked us how a Realtor could benefit from using BuyerHunt.com. I believe our value propostion for Realtors is clear, however, I thought it could benefit the readers of this Blog to know specifically how they can take action.

If you are a buyers agent, you can create Buyer Profiles on the site for each of your clients. A Buyer Profile is essentially a real estate wanted ad. When interested sellers see your Buyer Profiles, their contact will go through you as the buyer's representative. Alternatively, you can have buyers sign-up directly and create their own Buyer Profiles. If they receive information on a property they like, they can forward it to you over email for follow-up.

If you are a sellers agent, you can search BuyerHunt.com for Buyer Profiles that match your listing. Once you find a match, you create a Virtual Flyer and send it to the buyer. If they like your property, they will contact you for more information.

That it. It's simple. It's Real Estate in Reverse.

BuyerHunt's Face Lift, Pt. 1

You may have noticed some cosmetic changes have been made to BuyerHunt lately (by "lately," we mean "today"). Particularly, with the helpful feedback of our users, we went back to the drawing board and redrafted our home page. The concept of sellers searching for buyers is still a foreign one to most people, so our challenge has been to clearly, yet succinctly, present that concept with our landing page. We believe that we have made steps towards accomplishing that goal - and hope that you do, too. If not, use our contact form and let us know! 

As with most things in life, BuyerHunt is a work-in-progress, so consider this to be the first of many modifications, revisions, updates, and additions to come....

Hunter Trials

In fox hunting, the Hunter Trials are the first public hunt of the season, normally in early Fall. Hunters showcase their horse and their abilities as well as get some good practice for the season ahead. Much like the Hunter Trials, we're dusting off BuyerHunt.com, stretching our legs and getting ready for the main event.

It's a been a week since we launched our public beta and we are pleased to report we have received an enthusiastic flurry of emails, contacts, and blurbs from interested parties around the world. Most notably have been blog mentions from the Alarm:Clock and a review from the Phoenix Real Estate Guy, which helped us significantly increase the number of buyers in our database. We are encouraged by our initial reception and look forward to spreading the word to many more in the upcoming months!

Stay tuned for some cosmetic and functional changes arriving soon to the site  - our Horses are braided, tack sparkling clean, parties being planned, a no host breakfast following the hunt . . . And thank you for your continued support.

Buyer Hunt Beta is Live!

Yesterday afternoon, the Buyer Hunt team quietly released our baby into the world. As eager parents, we are both excited and nervous about what the future will bring.

Although open for use throughout the United States, we're targeting the Beta launch for home buyers in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Phoenix is HQ for the Buyer Hunt team, one of the fastest growing cities in the world and an active market for buyers and sellers of real estate.
